I am still very busy, too busy to be overly active here. However, my adoptable website is coming along, and I have several little pretties lined up for my first flat sale. I'm trying to figure out exactly how this adoptable will be run and what events I should be preparing for. So I thought I would write up a quick and painless survey to get a feel for what fun stuff adopters might be interested in participating with. If you wouldn't mind taking a moment to answer these questions, I would really appreciate it! In return, I'm gonna give a little away about the upcoming critters below :) Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones?
Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required?
Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free?
Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable?
Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring?
Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? (Such as baby, adolescent, adult, etc.)
BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be?
And, as promised, here's a little spoiler: Honeyblushes are humanoid adoptables inspired by the Greek's mythical Dryads. Currently, there are twelve different types of Honeyblushes, some more common than others. Each Blush supports his or her own mini ecosystem, and are often accompanied by fantastic little creatures. You'll have to wait to find out more; I might post a sneak peek soon ;)

Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones? I love them both. Individually drawn have more appeal because each is unique but I am not picky.
Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required? Right now I have quite a lot to deal with on my hands and don't always have the time or ambition to roleplay. If I absolutely had to have the pet I would try but I prefer them not be RP required.
Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free? Of course!
Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable? Yep!
Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring? I like both. I love the whole "box of chocolates, never knowing what you're gonna get' a" aspect of the winging it, but on the other hand I also like the knowing the possibilities and being able to breed for a certain thing by having genetics.
Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? Yes I do!
BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be? It would have to be fallow deer, specifically the piebald ones. And if I could give it an amazing mutation I would have to say... Probably feathered bird wings. Flying piebald fallow deer... *_* -swoons-

Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones? Both! I'm really not picky when it comes to poses. Individually drawn is fun since each one looks different, but sometimes they end up looking a little too different than all the others. Plus I know it's hard for me as an artist to keep up with individually drawn ones. I usually try to compromise with 2 or so "cutters" for variety. But really when adopting all I care about is that the critter looks nice.
Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required? No, I just don't have time. No matter how pretty they are, unfortunately. :<
Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free? Like a mini-game type of thing? I would do something like that if it didn't have a bunch of requirements and didn't last for super long.
Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable? I do enjoy things like that, I'm considering it for my plushies actually. ^o^
Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring? I'm horrible with genetics for some reason. I think it's because I don't apply myself to learning them all. >> I like to just adopt, breed, think up cute stories for their pages, play some games. It doesn't put me off from adopting, I just hope no one expects me to ever know what I'm talking about when it comes to breeding. xD
Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? (Such as baby, adolescent, adult, etc.) Yes! Auto-growing is always fun, but I also like ones I upload myself so I can keep all the stages easily. Usually I compile a little scrapbook on their page lol. But again, single stages don't put me off at all. I love simplicity too.
BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be? Deer! Annnd some fabulous long hair~

Thank you both for your feedback! The input is really helping me finalize some things.
I hadn't thought to make deer based pets yet, I had been sticking to smaller animals and birds. I think I'll have to create some maned deer and mini flying fallows :]
Thanks again!

Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones? Either one is fine with me. c:
Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required? Probably not at the moment. Roleplay encourage, on the other hand, would be fun... with bonuses for participating in RP.
Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free? EFF YES.
Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable? FFFFFFFF. Totally.
Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring? I LOVE genetics. I love doing them, I love working them out, I love planning breedin goals. But it really depends on the critter. Genetics for genetics' sake isn't always the best way to go, and it does get time consuming. But if there's a significant aspect to breeding/showing, or mutation genetics to strive for, then... yeah, totally!
Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? (Such as baby, adolescent, adult, etc.) It depends very much on the critter, I think. If there's a REASON for them to have stages, then yes.
BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be? Moose and caribou!
Why would they need mutations? They are awesome as is. <3 But if I must.... unicorn horns!

Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones? Either.
Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required? No.
Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free? Probably not...
Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable? Yes.
Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring? Either way, it doesn't matter to me. But something that really irks me is when someone uses genetics and doesn't know anything about them.
Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? (Such as baby, adolescent, adult, etc.) It depends on the critter, like Mem said.
BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be? I dunno... A squirrel maybe? lol. If I had to mutate it... Wings I guess.

Do you prefer cookie cutter critters or individually drawn ones? - I like both, but will pay more for individually drawn ones. Would you adopt a critter that is role-play required? - Honestly, probably not. I'm really bad about keeping up with that stuff and would feel guilty about it. Would you be interested in participating in role play "quests" to find rare adoptables for free? - Possibly! If we could go at our own pace (within reason) that would work fine. Would you enjoy buying items/pets to be added to the image of your adoptable? - Sure. Do you prefer complicated genetics for fantasy creatures or simply having the artist "wing it" when it comes to creating offspring? - I like some of each. Genetics are fun, but I like the randomness of an artist tossing stuff in too. Do you enjoy adoptables that "grow" or have multiple stages? (Such as baby, adolescent, adult, etc.) - Yup! BONUS: What's your favorite woodland creature, and if you could give it one fantastic mutation, what would it be? Deer - lion tails! Blush sound so pretty!
