Raven watched the March Hare go about his tasks, eying the little cakes and plates of candies. Some of them looked appealing and even appetizing but being as she didn't know what-so-ever if they contained blood from who knew or bits of kitchen garb she wasn't going to put any of them in her mouth. Not even to try them. Her eyes followed him around the kitchen for a few moments until he began to comment on the not being able to find the sugar or the cream. She noted earlier that they were already on the table and so she cleared her throat softly. "Ahem." and turned to look right at the rabbit. "Your cream and sugar are already sitting here on the table. She pointed them out to him with her finger, reaching across the table carefully so as to not knock anything over. "And also, I don't care for cream or sugar in my tea. Plain is how I take it." She didn't know how this was going to pan out. All she knew was that she wasn't going to be drinking anything from that pot or the gravy dish. She didn't want to be picking bits of porcelain plate and glass out of her tongue any time soon.

The March Hare's eyebrow quirked at you as if he didn't believe you, but he hopped back over to the table and plopped his bushy-tailed butt into a seat beside you. He giggled in a nervous way as he poured you a cup of "tea" and then served himself.
"So..." he started to say as he sipped his tea and spit out a chip of porcelain. "How'd yah get here?"

Raven looked over at the Hare as he came to sit down. She watched him drink his concoction and mentally gagged as he spit porcelain on the table. Not wanting to be rude she picked up her cup and put it to her lips, careful to not let the chunky liquid touch her mouth, and made like she was drinking. Setting her cup down she wiped her lips with her sleeve. Hopefully he wouldn't suspect anything. Turning back to him she politely answered his question. "Well through the door. I was following a bright light, it was very dark out there you see, and I ended up here."

Fidgeting with the things he had set on the table, the Hare took another sip of his tea and then spit it out all over the place. "Aye! I almost fergot!" He jumped up from the table and made his way to the fridge and pulled a large manila envelope out of a drawer that also contained carrots, cabbages, and turnips. He returned to the table just as quickly as he left and held the envelope to his chest as if it were his most prized possession.
"Some other funny lookin' gal gave me this... She said it were just in case someone were to drop by and have tea with me." He hesitated for a moment before he continued. "But... She also said iff'n I keep it, I can get somethin' real special..."

The hare was acting all sorts of goofy. Raven wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation at first so she just watched. When he leaped up from the table and scurried off Raven looked over quizzically. When he returned with the envelope she wondered what could possibly be in there. Something told her that she needed to know. She needed to know like she needed to breathe. Raven put on her charmer side as best she could. "Quite. It must be special. I wonder, what might it take to get the envelope from you? I have a couple of things that might entice you. Perhaps a trade?" And with that, she waited.

His eyes brightened, but he was still skeptical. His attention was distracted as he looked over at your cup of tea and noticed something that disturbed him. "...Yer teacup has... Tea in it..."
His eye twitched and he reached over and grabbed your cup and threw it at the wall. It smashed into tiny little pieces and the "tea" splashed everywhere. He grabbed another teacup from the table and handed it to you with shaking paws, then reached across the table to grab the gravy bowl full of his homemade concoction and offered you more. "Would yeh like s'more tea?"

Raven was taken aback when she saw her cup go flying, smashing against the wall. tea and bit of porcelain, plates, and who knows what else went flying across the room and sprayed the floor. The smell of tea, china, glass, and other things mingled with the blood everywhere and made her sick to her stomach. Not to time for vomiting. No. Raven paused, staring as the Hare filled her another cup. She pushed it aside quietly. Enough of this 'tea'. She wanted that envelope and this wasn't getting her any closer to getting it. Damn it. Reaching silently into her pocket she pulled out the shard of teacup and turned it in her hand under the table. Maybe this Hare's magpie-like hoarding behavior would cause him to want the shiny object in exchange for his envelope. It was worth a shot. "Sir Hare..." She paused before continuing so as to get his attention. "I have this very shiny shard of amazing-ness that was given to me by someone from the... outside world." She went on, lifting her hand to show the brilliant sheen off of the polished porcelain to him. "Perhaps you would trade me this shard of shininess for your envelope. Envelopes are not at all shiny. ...nor are they awesome."

The Hare's attention was taken away from the tea party by the shard of the teacup, though he had no idea what it really was. He looked at it in your hand, wondering what it could possibly be. He reached out for it to try to touch it, but then his paw snapped back to holding the envelope.
"Shineh shard of amazin'ness..." he mumbled to himself. "Maybeh... Iff'n yah wanna go half an' half... But I ain't givin' yah the whole envelope fer that."

Raven looked over at the Hare and for a few moments she just mulled over her options, stirring her 'tea' absentmindedly for a few. When she had thought it over she looked back at the hare and nodded. She pulled the half of the skeleton key out of her pocket and held it up. "Well, I do have this as well. So how about we do a full trade. I will give you both of these. The shiny, and the key for the whole envelope."

His lower lip trembled as he considered his options... Deal or no deal? Hmm... He was intrigued by the items, but they weren't something he really wanted to keep for himself. But at the same time, he did really enjoy collecting things. He was torn between the mystery contents of the envelope and the items that he could see. You could see he was struggling to make a decision, but finally he relented with a slightly puzzled look on his face.
"Aye... Iff'n yah want this envelope, yah can have it for the fair trade of yer key an' shineh."
He laid the envelope on the table in front of you and held out his greedy little paws for you to hand over your items.

Raven held out the two small objects and dropped them in Hare's paws and reached out to take the envelope. Grabbing a hold of it she tucked it under the edge of the table and waited to see what the Hare's reaction would be next.

Unfortunately, due to real life issues, Tiffany has asked me to cancel these. She apologizes.
