Hello again, everyone! I know this seems like multiple nonsensical long paragraphs, but I'd appreciate if you read and gave your feedback!
So, I've discovered a slightly concerning trend in my adoptable making. I start doodling, come up with creatures that could possibly be adopted out, I create a batch, adopt them out, and then a week later, repeat. Which means the previous creatures would then, for all purposes, be forgotten. (Sorry, Dapper Creatures. Do you guys actually like those?)
I'm trying to find a way around that, while still making the excess amounts of little linearts because I love them so. So, I bring forth an idea. I could make an adoptable named something along the lines of "Laviee/Celandine's Imaginarium," and within that adoptable, there will be many, many species. I could make it so that they retire in a certain amount of time, thus, restricting the amount of linearts floating around. Perhaps leaving them obtainable only by breeding after retirement. This does not apply to Remour, of course, so they'll stay their own separate little thing.
What do you all think of this idea?
I actually really, really wanted to do something with genetics, but I think if I were to apply genetics to these, it would be quite extensive, and I don't quite think I'm up to the task, seeing as my experience with genetics is quite limited thus far.
...Unless someone thinks up something so that it's pretty basic and still incorporates the separate species, etc? Actually, as I think about it, I might be leaning towards making genetics. Would you guys prefer genetics?
And just as a preview, if this were to happen, I have two of these Imaginarium creatures doodled up, sans shading.
